Some of you probably noticed that Adobe had some serious security problems with its software in the recent past. There were exploits for the pdf reader, flash and some other apps in the wild that allowed hackers to run custom code on the affected system. I'm very sure that lots of passwords, credit card numbers and identities were already stolen thanks to Adobes lack of security awareness. This page looked a little forsaken over the past weeks and but appearances are deceiving. I had two failing harddrives last month with 1 TB of data on them, that was a rather shocking experience. As a good computer scientist I always have backups around but recovering from failing drives is always a pain. In addition, I have driver problems with my tablet which renders it totally useless (randomly ignores strokes). Hopefully things will get back to normal soon, I have much spare time at the moment and can't use it... Want to hear some good news? I got a StarCraft 2 Beta Key :D

Well it has been 3 months now since I joined DA and tried coloring as a hobby. Time for a little review! The good: DA seems to be full of nice people, which I honestly didn't expected. I want to thank everyone who gave me permission to color his work or wrote a comment :) Also: Coloring is fun :D Maybe I'll try penciling someday, but that's allot harder... The bad: I find it pretty hard to get my hands on highres scans of inks or pencils. Most of the time I have to scale the images up to 200% of their size to get a resolution that is pleasant to work with. Yet I have to tune most pieces on a per-pixel level to reduce nasty errors
